Support Worker – Mental Health

Location Eckington Court Nursing Home – 7 Penny Engine Ln, Eckington, Sheffield S21 4BF

Salary: £13.52 – £14.35 per hour

Schedule/Hours: Full & Part-time available – Days

We’re thrilled to be expanding our team with a brand-new opportunity for a Support Worker (Mental Health) to be part of our specialist mental health community. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional person led care, and making a difference to the lives of the people you support, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of residents with complex and enduring mental health needs.

 

Pay Rates: 

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care: £13.52 /hour

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care: £14.35/hour

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs to live empowered, fulfilling lives? If you hold an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and have at least 6 months’ experience in a mental health care setting , we’d love to hear from you.

As a Specialist Support Worker , you’ll be at the heart of this mission—helping individuals build confidence, maintain independence, and reconnect with their community.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Supporting therapeutic, leisure, and daily living activities that promote wellbeing

Providing personal care with empathy and sensitivity

Receiving expert training to enhance your skills and confidence in mental health support

Collaborating with a passionate, multidisciplinary team
