Being a Staff Frontend Engineer at iManage Means 

You are a passionate engineer who will play a critical role in building our new Insight+ product. You will be at the heart of the development, solving exciting and challenging problems in a collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership and drive the development of the product, while working closely with our Product and UX teams.

You will work on everything from the web interface to writing performance-critical code, setting the foundation of the application. We use many of the latest tools and technologies for Insight+, including React, NextJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, REST, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

iM Responsible For 

  • Taking ownership and seeing a project through the full SDLC and production maintenance.
  • Architecting, developing, implementing, and delivering quality software into an externally facing client product.
  • Working with the UX team to define the user experience and client-side architecture for new and existing features.
  • Producing software designs that meet both business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams, product managers, and technical specialists to deliver our roadmap.
  • Leading and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Ensuring secure coding standards to protect the clients against various vulnerabilities.
  • Managing software deployments and ongoing software support.

 

iM Qualified Because I Have 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of frontend software development experience, focused on web application interfaces built using React or a similar modern framework.
  • Experience with unit and functional testing.
  • Consumed and contributed to the design of APIs.
  • Experience building and designing scalable systems in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with GraphQL is preferred.
