Software Engineer (JavaScript)

RS Group is looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong JavaScript expertise to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming our core e-commerce platforms, delivering exceptional user experiences and driving innovation at scale.

 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

As a Software Engineer at RS Group, you will:

• Develop and enhance features within our CMS to improve e-commerce functionality.
• Work across the full stack using technologies such as Node.js and React.js, ensuring a seamless and scalable experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, always keeping the customer at the center.
• Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement—bringing new ideas, testing modern technologies, and learning every day.
• Apply and advocate for best practices in testing, including unit testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and code quality.

 

About You: 

You’re a mid-level software engineer with a passion for building scalable, high-performing platforms. You’ve played a key role in delivering e-commerce solutions and are excited about working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

 

What You Bring: 

• Strong experience with Node.js and JavaScript
• Familiarity with React.js and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience working with GraphQL
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (ideally Contentful)
• A mature approach to testing, including unit and E2E testing
• Understanding of software architecture, pipelines, and design patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

 

Desirable Skills: 

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
