QUANTITY SURVEYOR 

Quantity Surveyor – Chatham Office 

“We’re looking for an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our Chatham team.”

The Quantity Surveyor Role 

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in the high-end commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector, ideally within the London market.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage all commercial aspects of complex projects, including those involving significant structural alterations. A strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management principles is essential, along with excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of projects ranging from £1M to £100M.
• Prepare and manage interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and payment processes.
• Identify, value, and agree variations and change controls.
• Provide accurate forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• Proactively manage commercial risks and ensure best value throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, and Clients to ensure successful project delivery.
