Project Coordinator
£30,000 – £35,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 6B)
Manchester – in this role you’ll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between working from home and occasionally coming into the office for training and team connections (find out more about our hybrid working policy at https://jobs.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy)
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Property team and help keep our projects running smoothly. You’ll make sure all the right documents are in place, coordinate suppliers, and support the team with finance and compliance tasks. It’s a busy role where no two days are the same, and you’ll play a big part in helping us deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Why this role matters
Behind every successful construction project is great organisation. This role makes sure everything is documented properly, health and safety requirements are met, and suppliers are lined up when needed. You’ll help keep projects on track and spot ways to make processes simpler and more efficient. We have a busy pipeline of projects to improve our Co-op estate, and together, we’ll make sure our stores and branches remain welcoming, safe, and fit for the future.

We’re an organisation that puts people and communities first, and we’re powered by purpose. We want this to be a place where you can thrive, so you’ll also receive:
A place you’ll belong
We’re building diverse and inclusive teams that reflect the communities we serve.
We welcome applications from everyone and are committed to creating a workplace where colleagues can feel like they belong, supported by our inclusive policies and the ways we work.
We’re proud to be part of the Disability Confident scheme and offer interviews to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a job. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, we’ll support you.

As part of your application, you’ll need to complete an online assessment. This assessment typically takes up to 50 minutes. If you’re a current Co-op colleague, this does not need to be completed.
