Team Overview 

Our team offers specialist advice on the full range of derivatives, structured products, capital markets and securitisation products and transactions, including equity derivatives, credit derivatives, repos, securities lending transactions and securitisation products such as RMBS, CMBS, auto and consumer ABS and NPLs. We have extensive experience of advising issuers, dealers, corporates and other market participants across all major jurisdictions, sectors and in all areas of capital markets.

The derivatives, structured products and capital markets industries are undergoing a period of unprecedented regulatory change and our team is at the forefront of advising on these developments, including the Benchmark Regulation, clearing, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MiFID II, PRIIPs KID and the Prospectus Directive.

Job Overview 

You will be working with other paralegals and associates within the Global Markets group across multiple offices. The role is inclusive of but not limited to:

  • Drafting of securitisation documentation such as sale, servicing and bond documentation
  • Assisting with SPV establishment and related corporate authorisations
  • Drafting of trade documentation for structured products and derivatives
  • Assisting on programme updates of base prospectuses and other offering documentation (including assistance on the listing process)
  • Assisting on supplements and liaising with EEA competent authorities
  • Liaising with clients (both business and legal teams) on transactions
  • Assisting on a broad range of structured finance and securitisation transactions
  • Assisting with knowhow and project work
