Job title: Office Assistant (Senior Operator)

Salary: £25,566.84 per annum plus company benefits

Location: Newcastle

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

Work model: On-site

 

Williams Lea seeks an Office Assistant to join our team within a leading law firm!

Purpose of role

The primary function of the Senior Operator is to deliver services to our clients in accordance with the Service Level’s agreed at the outset of each contract. As part of this function the Senior Operator will be assist the Office Manager on areas as productivity, quality, continuous improvement and personnel issues within their assigned areas.

This Senior Operator role has other key deliverables such as setting a positive tone and generating an open, trusting and fun work environment. It is key that the Senior Operator supports the Office Manager.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support with Office Services such as scanning, photocopying, print jobs etc.
  • Support with Office Health and Safety
  • Supporting the Office Manager with social and charitable events
  • Regularly updating the intranet
  • Liaise with the other Senior Operators as necessary to meet/overachieve on SLAs
  • Ensure workloads are balanced throughout team
  • Identify and eliminate process weaknesses proactively and continue to identify any training needs
  • Provide timely and consistent communication, issue resolution and Management Information reporting to external and internal clients / account management teams as required
  • Have the ability to deal with client issues quickly and effectively, seeking assistance when required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients providing assistance and advice as and when required

  • Previous experience with scanning, photocopying, print jobs etc is essential
  • Previous experience with Electronic Working is desired but not essential
