The Mechanical Engineer is responsible of the development of Technical Deliverables (Mechanical developments, Calculation, Design, Specification, Design Review, etc.) in the scope of Framatome Limited. The role is based in the Design Office in Avonmouth, United Kingdom (occasional travel to other sites in the UK and abroad is required on this role).
The role consists in delivering mechanical studies through the lifecycle of the engineering developments in accordance with the Framatome Limited processes, procedures, and instructions. The Mechanical Engineer has a primary role in supplying solutions to the Design Package by ensuring all Requirements reviewed, analysed, and satisfied from the conceptual phase to the detailed design and release of deliverables.
The Mechanical Engineer is constantly seeking optimisation within the Engineering processes, procedures and instructions and is actively participating in Design Reviews as well as HSE activities in relation to the Engineering Department.
