Our Head Offices are based within our own award winning 4-star Hotel CASA in Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire.

We are now seeking a Finance Analyst working within our busy Accounts Department due to the growth of the business.

This is a very rounded role which will give the successful applicant excellent experience in many different aspects of the business. Working in a small, friendly team we are looking for someone who is motivated to support the growth of the company.

Key responsibilities 

As Finance Analyst, you will support the Management Accountant in Month End reporting and assume responsibility for day-to-day financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Conduct cost analysis and assist with product costing to support pricing and profitability decisions
• Assistance with production and distribution of weekly and monthly reporting regarding commercial performance
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required to support business decisions
• Assistance Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments for the business
• Monthly Direct and Indirect Sales Reporting
• Review manual accruals within the database for In-Direct customer spend

Skills and qualifications 

We are looking for someone who is/has:

• A degree (or degree-level apprenticeship) in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential along with a good experience of working in a management accounts role.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel knowledge in working with (Lookups, Sumif formulas, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team
• Strong work ethic to get involved with ad-hoc duties
• Experience of working within an accounts team in a manufacturing environment
