Engineering Technician
Stafford Fulfilment Centre
£47,000 + 10% shift allowance | 40.25 hrs per week | 4 on 4 off, 12 hr shifts, days and nights rotation
At Pets, our aim is to give the nation’s pets what they need to be at their ball-chasing, tail-wagging best. Because we will not rest until every spaniel has a squeezy toy. Every calico has a cat tree. Every rabbit has a run. We are motivated to find the best talent in the Logistics & Distribution industry. Right now, we are looking for a Technician to join our Engineering Team at our Fulfilment Centre in Stafford.
The Role
Our Fulfilment Centre includes a high degree of automation, containing an automated storage and retrieval system and associated conveyance, designed to streamline and improve the existing e-commerce side of the business.
We are looking to recruit engineering technicians with experience in the maintenance of MHE (materials handling equipment) and other assets, to compliment the operation of the facility.
The engineering technician will be responsible in providing both a reactive and pro-active maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure within the FC. The role has a direct impact on the site, its productivity and operation. If equipment is not available or performs badly, it minimises the capacity and throughput of the site.

Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience do not perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!”
