ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER LEAD (HUTHWAITE)

We are currently looking for a Reliability Maintenance Engineer Lead to join us at our facility in Huthwaite, UK.

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for identifying potential problems or opportunities for improvement by analysing data and identifying patterns within that data. Once problems have been identified, the reliability engineer will develop and implement solutions to prevent them, ultimately improving the reliability of systems, equipment, and processes.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address underlying problems.
  • Design and implement new maintenance procedures for equipment monitoring and testing. Be up to date with market trends for continuous improvement.
  • Research and implement innovative technologies and processes to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees, collaborating with other departments to integrate reliability across the organization.
  • Monitor property, facilities, and equipment conditions, identifying maintenance needs and implementing upkeep schedules.
  • Develop strategies for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and effectiveness, overseeing preventative maintenance processes.
  • Research and implement best practices for facility maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance processes to ensure effectiveness.
  • Manage contractors on site carrying out engineering and other works. Hold daily meetings with the team, foster QHSE Responsibilities, Lead by example, and maintain QHSE awareness throughout the site
  • Performance management of maintenance staff including evaluation, training and development, coaching, and feedback.

 

Key requirements:

  • Around 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding the manufacturing of liquid coatings.
  • Technical knowledge of Liquid coatings.
  • Good communication skills. Adaptability.
  • Experience within the chemical industry.
