Job Details
This is a support assistant role providing a professional focussed business support service to Fife’s Bereavement Services.
The role involves maintaining computer systems and processes to support service delivery, search and retrieval of information, a high level of customer contact duties including face to face and telephone enquiries, data/word processing, financial transactions, printing, scanning, copying and mail handling.
The post is full time permanent (36 hours per week/7.2 hours each day) and primarily based in Kirkcaldy with some cover required within Dunfermline. A small element of solo working may be required from time to time.
The Person
Essential qualifications for this post are National 4, SVQ, or 3 Standard Grades or equivalent.
You should have experience of working in an office using current computer based applications to carry out a range of duties.
Good communication skills are necessary including an awareness of customer care with telephone, email and face to face enquiries.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
