ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER 

 

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our Severn Trent Contract based in Wanlip.

Location: Wanlip – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be working within the Severn Trent Contract, you will support the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of both civil engineering and non-infrastructure (MEICA) works on the Wanlip STW upgrade.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and supporting delivery of all civil and MEICA works on site, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Promoting and maintaining HSEQ standards, participating in daily briefings, audits, and ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and Severn Trent Water requirements.
  • Leasing with design teams to review drawings, resolve technical queries, and ensure integration between civil and MEICA designs.
  • Assisting in managing subcontractors and procurement, supporting progress tracking, valuations, and cost control under NEC contracts.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams, attending progress meetings and maintaining clear documentation to support smooth project delivery and handover.

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Project Manager is great for you if:

  • You have knowledge of Water technical standards and AMP delivery models.
  • You have an understanding of MEICA plant, such as blowers, pumps, actuators, MCCs, and instrumentation.
  • You have strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate across disciplines.
