Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Salary: £21,000 – £23,793

Hours: 37 hours p/w

Contract: Fixed Term Sept 2024 – August 2025 due to funding

Reports to: CEO/Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Operations Team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Operations Team with administration and project-management tasks including, but not restricted to data entry, filing and document management
  • Supporting with the co-ordination of online and face-to-face training events including scheduling, uploading and managing bookings on the event management system, acting as a key point of contact for event bookings and liaising with the Operations Team on publicity and promotion
  • Maintaining the event management system so all details are accurate
  • Assisting with staff queries and supporting with system issues
  • Managing the Nessie shared inbox and ensuring all enquiries are responded to
  • Monitoring the Team Tasks daily to respond to queries
  • Assisting with admin for staff meetings as required
  • Attending inhouse weekly Operations/Admin meeting
  • Policies- ensuring all policies are up to date and approved by the Board/CEO as appropriate
  • Undertaking any other duties as may reasonably be expected

Knowledge, Experience and Training

Work Experience:

  • Some previous experience of working within an administrative role
  • Knowledge of Education or public health services within the region would be an advantage but is not essential

  • IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Teams
